Though I have to leave at or shortly after noon, so hopefully we can get the baseball draft started promptly. And I can get a couple of songs in afterwards....

Will there be games with small wooden bits this Saturday? Cause if that is the case i will be there about 10AM.

I will be there to play non-baseball games. Wooden cubes are fine. Cardboard counters, wooden blocks, or plastic figures are even better.

If we start the draft at 9:30, we should finish by 11:30 (ish).

(I'm hoping that everyone will have their first pick worked out, and we can finish a few rounds relatively quickly).

I'm a "probably" for non-baseball fun Saturday.

My xbox is missing.

I was burgarized sometime this week.

I just went to hook it up and the cords are missing from the tv and the power outlet and the xbox itself is missing.

Sorry to hear that. Did they get anything else?

At 7:01 PM, March 06, 2008, Blogger Unknown said...

No, I suspect that it was a neighbor. They left the drum kit so it was probably on foot.

At 7:50 PM, March 06, 2008, Blogger Unknown said...

they also got my wii.

Wow, that totally sucks! I wonder if you can report the serial number to MS in case someone ever logs in to XBL with your machine.

I don't have the SN.

Now I can't find my spare key.

This really, really sucks.

Wow, that really, really blows... Are you calling in a locksmith?

I doubt I can help in any way, but let me know if I can. I'd be happy to.

Maybe we can get a console fund going for our fellow SABGer here!

We have a man down, repeat, man down!

Also, I'm probably out for Saturday. I'm not going out of town, but I have other pressing (and non-fun) engagements to tend to.

Well, I'm thoroughly depressed on Michael's behalf. I can only hope that the pointless stupidity that went into the theft continues and we see those responsible catch themselves.

Ben and I will knock out one of our two-player favorites till the draft is done.

I wouldn't mind seeing WoW again, it doesn't feel like we really played it.

I'm getting a locksmith in the morning.

I'm hoping my homeowners insurance will take care of this. This is just very frustrating.

Simon, I got kneehi to recover my gamertag since microsoft made it clear they won't trace ips for me.

That way the fucker can't buy points with my credit card at least.

I just looked at my deductible...ouch.

Sorry to hear that Michael.

That sucks hardcore.

well if you gentlemen are doing baseball stuff and the like, since i would only be able to stay until about 1 anyways, perhaps i shall bow out this week.

Scheduling error!

My travel next week is taking a group to New Orleans for a physics meeting. I thought I was supposed to pick up the rental van Saturday at noon. It's actually *10am*.

So I won't be at Chris's until about 10:30am. But I can stay later!

We'll just make the first several round's choices for you Dennis... ;)

I'm fine with the later start time for the draft.

World of Warcraft sounds wonderful, Steve! I'd also do Arkham, TI:3, Power Grid, Combat Commander, Tide of Iron, C&C: Ancients, or any of a number of things we might find lurking in Chris' closet.

Michael: Will you at least be able to recover your DLC from MS?

At 5:22 PM, March 07, 2008, Blogger Unknown said...

The DLC issue is a pain.

I believe that if I replace the 360 (not guaranteed at the moment), I will always have to be logged into xbox live to use any dlc.

Maybe they will work with me beyond that.

I was shocked. The total loss came to like 1700 dollars so I am going to get something from insurance. It will be enough to replace the 360 if I choose and maybe a couple of games.

But the locksmith raped me. I honestly was completely shocked. When we changed our locks moving into this house it was 50 bucks. I didn't shop around at all this morning because I did not sleep at all last night and wanted to get them out here so I could rest.

I should have asked before he came.

250 bucks to rekey 3 deadbolts.

That is total bs I have to say.

Its something I can do for 45 bucks myself going down to home depot if I had someone watching my house while I was gone. Anyway lesson learned, but there is no way 250 bucks my ass. And that is not part of the insurance claim.

At 6:39 PM, March 07, 2008, Blogger Ben said...

Dude.... next time you need someone to watch your house, give us a call. That's what friends are for. Now we need to design you a good booby trap.

I will not be there tomorrow; Pee Wee soccer match. I will probably show up Monday night.

P.S. I've got a slight jones creeping on for Race; I can already tell that I am going to be completely hooked on a game that I will never be able to get anyone else to play. Therefore, I will be looking forward to our future gaming!

Michael, that is awful about what happened. So sorry.

Tiffany (or anyone else) I would love to play a wooden block game. I am eager to try out my game of 1960: Making of a US President. I have not played yet, but I hav egone over the rules and it seems simple and straight forward. Perhaps next week or Monday at DL. I'll hav eto see if I have any domestic chores to do Saturday morning.

What he said.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, and it makes me angry to think about people doing stuff like this.

Stuff came up. I probably won't be showing up for gaming.

Yeah, DRM rules will rape you on the DLC front as well. Even refurbs have to sign into Live to use any DLC which is total BS.

Apparently the best way to fight piracy is to screw over those of us who actually acquire content legally with money. Thanks Microsoft!
