MLK Day Gaming

For those able to tear themselves away from Viva Pinata and Lego Star Wars, I'm free to game on Monday, MLK Day, all day. Who's with me? I suggest starting at DL at 10:00 AM. I'm fine with just about any kind of agenda, and I'll bring a few tasty nuggets myself.

There was early preliminary discussion of epic TI:3 gaming, but I think this might be better saved for a session with Hornsfan001.

If you're planning to attend, please post in the comments.

So many stickers to apply....

Oh, man, I love this picture. My C&C:A expansions 1-3 came today from Thought Hammer, along with Race for the Galaxy (yes, I was one of the few group holdouts) and Battlelore: Scottish Wars (hope it's not craaap) I've got a lot of sticker applying to do over the next few weeks.

Anyway, as I said in a previous post, I'm almost certainly unavailable for Monday due to out-of-town company. If you don't pull off TI:3 then maybe we'll save it for the following weekend. Carlos, any chance you could host for a TI:3 game at your place some weekend? I know getting away is difficult for you but I figured maybe if we all came over there, you'd have a better chance of playing.

I think I will be free during the day on MLK day, and meeting at DL seems good to me.

Does everyone get MLK day off? 'Cause I sure don't.

I'm not off either, Simon. I plan on heading over to DL after work, so if anyone is still around I'll enjoy some gaming goodness then.

If its just you and I, Jon, maybe it would be a good day for CC:M.

Ben, thanks for thanks the initiative on this as usual. I will be working on MLK day, so I will not be available.

Chris, as to your TI3 comment, I will begin actively searching to find a day to host as soon as I can. I will try to encourage the wife and kids to go to my sister-in-laws house. I wish that Brian would play TI3 with us.

Good gaming!

I would be willing to try TI3. I have Monday off. I'll read up on the rules. Let me know if you get enough players, and the starting time.

Michael, Jon (aka The Invader), and I had a fantastic session of Doom with a side order Dairy Queen. We played the final, monster, end game scenario in the campaign where we had to chuck the cosmic cube into three slimy alien portals to a much warmer place.

I have to jet to work, but suffice to say the marines came within a turn of winning. Argh! I have to say, pre-Road to Legends, Doom is a better game than Descent. Its just as much fun and packed into 3 hours vs. 6-8 hours.
