Austin Game Convention
I just saw on BGG that Austin is having a game convention in Early January. I think I've met the organizer, but I'm not sure. In any case, Austin is close enough that you might consider going up just for a day or so. On the other hand, we'll probably have a day of gaming that weekend too.
Anyway, thought I'd mention it. Here's the convention website.

Thanks Brian. We've met at Ed and Susan's before. Thanks for the mention. We'd love a large contingent if you are up for playing Friday night through Sunday night.
GITHOT--Games in the Heart of Texas will also feature door prizes, a "42 tournament", snacks, and other goodies. If you guys plan on staying at the Wingate let me know and I'll see about requesting a special rate for you.
I hope to see you the weekend of January 11. Kevin Nunn says he'll probably come up from Houston if you know him.

Ok, the hotel said $71 GITHOT rooms until they are released until Jan. 1.
