The time is nigh...

Registrations are open... I'm almost ready to pull out my credit card.
Anyone interested in bringing the SABG posse over to Dallas?

I really want to go again. It was a ton of fun. There are a few problems though this year -- one is that it's so close to Thanksgiving. If we go to Dallas we pretty much can't afford to go somewhere for the holiday. Plus, I hate paying for a hotel when I have a brother in law who lives close by, but last year there were times I really wished I had a room. Anyone interested in splitting the costs of a room? I think it will fill up quickly this year.

Kendahl...that was partly the reason I was posting this. I wanted to share a room. It looks like my wife may not be going (she may not be happy with me gaming 24hrs a day for 4 days). Love her to death (for the record)... but a part of me prefers having here not go because of this.

Would u go all four days? I could

If I go, it will be for all four days. I haven't approached the subject with my wife yet. One problem I have that you don't is that I would not just be leaving my wife, but a five year old, a three year old, and a five month old. I need to find just the right time to tell her she will have to watch the kids by herself for four days while I go play games.

Why oh why did they have to schedule the convention the same weekend as my wedding anniversary!!?

Kendahl, how about tomorrow while you two are having a romantic candle-lit dinner under the stars? :)

Understood... and for that same reason, this IS the year for me to go. There will probably be an offshoot over here by next year, making gaming activities harder to handle.

All the more reason to get the wives acquainted and involved. They can all get together, watch the kids, etc., while we play games.... at least until the kids are old enough to join in on the gaming.

Wives aquainted....I've thought about that. It's about time my wife met who my Monday-night-mistress is (SABG-gaming that is).
