Another Wargame Celebrity in our Midst
This week GMT immortalized Hornsfan by posting his new Victory Banner chart for Command and Colors: Ancients on their website. Pretty awesome (and quite useful too)!

Funny, immortality doesn't feel all that different.
I'll be signing autographs at a gaming session near you soon. In lieu of applause, donations are welcome.
Seriously, though, I made it really only for me, mainly as a way to continue wasting time instead of working on my presentations (which I'm giving this weekend in Chicago). Throwing all the victory banner blocks together, I figured it would be nice to have a way to know which ones to pull out when the time came. I figured I'd put it on BGG in case I wasn't the only one who stored the banners in one big bag but still wanted to play with the correct ones at the correct time (it's garnered a grand total of zero thumbs, so it looks like I am the only one). I asked GMT for permission to put it there since it used their sticker graphics. They said "Only if you let us put it up on our website too!" Maybe it was a slow week at the office. But still nice of them.
No thumbs for a file is standard operating procedure. Files are horribly unloved. I try to remember to go back and thumb good ones, but it's not as effortless as thumbing a good post or a good geeklist.
