Now that that's done
The pizza does not lie. Now that the superbowl is over, we can all game on Monday. We can all set aside our differences and revel in the Patriot's loss through interpretive gaming. Can't we? I'll be there by 5-ish.

Fantastic label. Not giving the MVP to a defensive lineman -- any defensive lineman -- was a crime.
I might actually make it this week. Let's see how long the party cleanup takes me.
Yeah, like the guy who sacked Brady twice, caused one fumble, etc etc etc.
They probably let Troy "It's a two possession game" Aikman vote.
I am really just beside myself right now.
I think I did a good job filtering myself. For instance, pbp for the Eli Manning avoiding that sack and heaving it down the field to be caught by the fingertips over the head:
"No, No, NO!, NO!!!!!, NO!!!!!!!, yes, yes, NO!!!!, yes, YES!!!, YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!"
I see why Brady was offended that Plaxico suggested they would score 17 points. That really was crazy.
Justice. Is. Served.
18*-1 bitches!
And how did you guys like how Bill Belichick ran off the field before the game was even over!? Shows what a poor sport the guy is IMO. He didn't even shake Coughlin's hand when they met up, too. Just goes to show their talents go beyond cheating and showboating. They're poor losers also!
By the way, I hate the Pats if you couldn't tell...
(Here's hoping for a Manning V Manning superbowl next year!)
Oh yeah, I'll be there tomorrow.
I will try to make it, maybe 6:30ish.
I should be up for tomorrow. I have a feeling some R and R is gonna be needed tomorrow evening. Especially since i doubt i will get out of lab here until 2 or 3 AM. Such is life i suppose.
Superbowl?
Are you guys talking about that dexterity game with the area-control mechanic Fox was showing that prevented House from airing until 9:30?
From the fifteen seconds I watched, it looked like that not-round ball was used to mark the most important area, like the king in El Grande.
People actually watch House?!
A great site for the less-than-medically-educated among us : A Medical Review Of House
I'll be there tonight around 6ish.
House is mildly amusing and I have plenty of friends that watch it religiously. I used to tivo it but found that it was such a low priority for me to actually watch it that episodes ended up getting cycled off before I got around to watching them.
It has its moments:
*puts a steak on a plate*
*covers it up with lettuce*
"So just the salad?"
"Yes"
lol
I saw one episode and found the main character so over-the-top with ridiculousness and overacting that it was nigh unwatchable. My eyes got tired of rolling and my throat from scoffing at all the scenery chewing - I didn't even get a chance to have a problem suspending my disbelief!
Then again, I'm a hopeless lover of Lost so I might not be the truest judge of television quality... There I said it.
Can we at least agree on Deadwood, then?
I liked the actor playing House much better when he was in Black Adder. He apparently learned well about acting over the top there.
The new Terminator show isn't too bad, at least while BSG is on hiatus. I too enjoy Lost, but mainly because I want to see how it all ends.
