Sat 10/13

So I called Michael by accident today, and he kindly reminded me that if I want to set something up for this coming weekend, I should post it here.

Anyone up for gaming on 10/13? I'm avalaible from the crack of dawn., but would prefer starting closer to 10 at DL.

Jon, I can't do Napoleon on Friday. Maybe Saturday? Just break from the group at some point and play? Ben, it would be great, but also doing a scenario of LnL would be too much, wouldn't it? (I'm doing a fair amount of eurogaming now, but I'm really lacking on the wargaming front.)

There's been talk of a potential game of TI:3 on Saturday, but I'm not sure we have enough interest yet. I'm interested if at least three others are.

I'm actually condition yellow now Saturday, as we'll have guests I will have to disengage from. Still, its a good possibility for me.

If things do kick off at DL on Saturday, be sure to secure a side room plus a pile of chairs early. They seem to be allowing the CMG and Warhammer folks to take over most of the store on Saturday.

Well, it doesn't have to be there.... It could be at Jeff's, your place, or Chris'?

Yesterday (Saturday) worked just fine at DL, so its not a big problem. When I arrived at noon, I think I did snag the last available chair in the store, though, hence my suggestion to secure chairs early.

I'd host, but my guest apartment will have guests, and my main house is undergoing yet more reconstruction.

I thought Dennis had laid claim to 10/13 already?

Oh wait.... Jeff, I remember reading that here somewhere. Was it this weekend?

So Dennis... your place?

Yeah, all me. There was talk of 7 Ages? Or other stuff.

BTW Ben, check out the new Garrett's Games and Geekiness. They mention my name a few times.... on my way to getting into The Gathering. (yeah, right)

Ok, so we are pulling in different directions here...TI3, 7 Ages... Which one is it?

I'd be much more interested in 7 Ages than TI:3 (and if we're doing 7A, it would be much better at someone's house, so we can leave it set up over lunch, and start a bit earlier).

That being said, I'm up for almost anything, assuming I can break free.

Sounds like there might be more of a 7 Ages push this coming weekend, which is fine by me. Still, TI:3 fans, we should pick an upcoming Saturday on the calendar.

If anyone wants to peel off for in-depth two player gaming (i.e., WotR, NT, LNoE, Tannhauser, C&C:A, etc.) or shorter multi-player stuff, I'm game. I keep hoping I'll see 1960 and/or Hannibal this week...

Rob, were you the "Rob" who received the shoutout on The Dice Tower regarding Napoleon at Marengo and Lock 'N Load?

Holy crap...that was me too. Haven't listened to that part though.

That's just me bored from lack of enough quality gaming as I used to get with SABG... compensating for this 'void'.

BTW, Sign me up for 7 Ages if that is the game du jour.

If no TI3, then WotR or CnC ancients?

If you don't recognize me, the Dallas game aged me a decade, though my vocabulary is robust.

Looks like I may be able to get a kitchen pass this Saturday. I may even be able to secure a spot for TI3.

But if the plan is to meet at DL, I can be there. Would be up for just about anything.
