I would like to sell this old game, Blood Bowl, first edition. But I don't know how much to charge for it. I've tried Shop.com, e-bay, bardgamegeek, vintage board games, and a half a dozen other places. No one has a copy. Can anyone give me a good web site or catalog where I can look up the value of this? Thanks.

Boardgamegeek lists one copy at $35, and another at 45 euros.

Trollandtoad.com lists it at $52, but their prices for out of print boardgames are generally regarded as ridiculously high.

I suggest poking around the Games Workshop forums to see if they have any clues.

I think you'll find that it doesn't go for much of a premium over retail (if any) because Blood Bowl is still in print. In fact, people who play (as opposed to collect) would probably avoid a 1st edition set.

So the price range Jeff quotes ($35-$55) seems reasonable to me. Note that BGG sales are "Fire and forget." You list them, but it may be months (or never) before anyone bites. I usually use it for things I want to sell for a slight premium. Eventually someone gets interested ... but it takes a while.
