Ben (?) and I are showing up early tomorrow. I can be there by 10am. Will be bringing a few of the usuals that are in need of some lovin': Perikles, Hermagor, Shogun...
The Dime? Well Combat Commander has reached it, with another devastating loss on my part (thanks in part to the endless rainfall of american units [Jon pulling about 6-7 unit-generating events])....meaning that I'd like to take a break from it, and play some of my other dust-gathering wargames that need some affection too. Unfortunately they are longer, and require some planning ahead. Of course, if I'm tempted with a possible game #11 of CC , and say...people start playing Stage II, I won't say no to CC.

Yep, I'll be there at 10:00 AM, and I'm pretty sure I can stay until 4:00 PM.

It looks like a 4 player game of Doom is forming up....but all the spots are filled. That's at 10am. Just FYI. Don't want any stragglers.

I'll show at anytime if anyone wants to play Kingmaker, Battlelore, or CnC Ancients. If no, I may show anyway just to check out different games being played. I'll definitely pick up War of the Ring soon.

Seriously, my desire to play boardgames has perilously dropped with the lure of the Wii and 360 all hooked up to the hi def.
Crackdown comes out on Tuesday. You know you want it.
You know, I felt the same way once I (re)started playing computer games (Currently Company of Heroes and Half Life 2 Episode one). I stopped feeling that urge to buy every boardgame out there. It's like switching from one drug to another.

Steve, other than Doom at 10am and Manifest Destiny at 4pm (maybe?), nothing else is planned. The "free-for-all" time should be starting after 1pm I think. I'd really like to play 5-player Periklesk, so that would be perfect!
My 8am-class-every-day schedule is killing me; I'm *so* wiped by 5pm I can't think about gaming. But my wife will be gone all weekend, so I'm raring for games anytime from Friday afternoon through Saturday night.
