December 14th Game Night

Howdy all,

Would anyone like to join Kendahl and I for some gaming on Wednesday. I'd like to break out some HP, but look forward to confirnming Kendahl's previous comments about Mystery of the Abby and trying out a full game of Succession.

I think we will start around 6pm and go until the wives call you home.

Also, if interested, we can order a pizza. Nothing helps a game along like some good greasy food.

Let me know.

What happens if we are fortunate enough to bring a wife to game night?

You get to stay until the host's wife calls it a night.

Hey, Jeff, cool seeing you today.

The plan as of right now is for Amy and I to both be there.

I should be able to attend, but that's pending christmas shopping.

I'll bring along a game or two.

Also, 6:00 might be pushing it, but 6:30 should be no sweat.

I can't make it. I'll be on my way to Galveston for an interview. And then I leave on the 15th. So I'll probably see you guys after the 26.

Of course I'll keep in touch through our site to see what's happening in SA.

BTW, I just tried Carcassonne the city with my wife, and it was a cool game. I like the element of "pressure" you feel as the walls surround the city and limit your options. At the same time, it provides another means to make more points. Looking forward to trying it with 4 players....although I think the group wasn't very fond of Carcassonne sometime ago.

Put me down as a maybe. It'll be hard to resist the allure of Jackson's King Kong, but I figure I really need to meet the rest of you guys.

Alas, I'm in North Carolina and won't be able to attend. Curses! I wanted to play more Hunting Party.

I'm stuck in hotel room playing Civilizatin IV on my laptop... actually a pretty good game. The World War 2 North Africa scenario is tons of fun.

Count me in for next week though!

I think we should push it back to 6:30. Looks like most people can't make it till then.

Although I'm terrible at it, I really like Carcassone as a two player game. I've practiced a bit on BSW, but the Germans there run through me like Poland circa 1939!

I'm interested in the expansions, but they never seem to make it up my priority list. I guess I'd give the game a 7. Princess and Dragon sounds interesting, as it turns the conflict up a notch.

Have fun tomorrow!

Tonight isn't looking so good for me, but Jeff will most likely still be there.

As usual for the last gaming sessions, will look forward to "gaming" vicariously through your gaming session....
