Weekend, Monday and voting!

Is anything happening? I guess not, since nobody has posted anything, but if there were pent up demand I could possibly host tomorrow.

As for Monday, I'll be there at the normal time

And it's almost June. That means that it's been almost a year since SABGers voted on their favorite games. And here's the 2007 list. So I'll compile the votes during all of June. For those who haven't done it before, just email me your top 20 games (ranked #1-#20), and I'll give them points. 40 points for a #1 vote, 21 points for a #20 vote. (So that way, any game on two lists edges out any game on a single list, but order still matters). We have more people this year, so I'm hoping that we'll have more lists. Last year there were eleven voters, I think this year we should get a few more entries .... no rush, but it's officially open!

Can we vote? Yes we can!

The most difficult part of the poll is waiting for the results to come out! Working on mine now.

What happens if Michael lists the same game in places 1-10? I'm not saying, I'm just saying...

Saturday looks like it's catch up on stuff day (sorely needed). Don't know about Sunday. Monday is looking highly possible.

I will vote this year probably unlike last. I'm not sure whether my top 2 has changed in the past three years but my top 3 has definitely changed. I'll have to sort that out sometime.

We should play celebrities some time so I can figure out where that stands these days on my list.

But when will you show us Blood Bowl Chris?

Doesn't Dennis have Blood Bowl?

Votes on the way!

Hooray! My copy of Wallace's Waterloo just arrived. Lots of wood in the box.

That's what he said!

I'm out for the next three weeks, I think... Hopefully things will settle down by then.

I should have a list to send in the next day or two, though...

Ok, my list is made, but I need to sleep on it (and let the beer stop talking). I'm also looking at my list and trying to figure out why my top 25 choices won't fit into 20 slots. The hardest choices for me are not at the top, they're at the bottom.

We'll toss open the house for gaming at 1:30, if people are interested...

Thanks for the assist, Sean.

So... Waterloo looks like a good, meaty wargame with meeples. I love on the box how it says, "The world doesn't need another Waterloo game, but its going to get one anyway." Numbered and signed by Martin Wallace is a nice touch as well. The game is almost permanently sold out worldwide, but I just closed my eyes and de-shrinked it.

Stone Soup continues to entertain. My minotaur berserker did well last night before getting just a little too bold until he decided to charge the little old wizard way across the room... Zap!

My Brute really needs a flail. Then it will be payback time...

What are the terms of membership to this 'Merry Band' and would I as an outsider be allowed to cast a vote?

I am going to bring some games that I have and have not played yet. Or more than once. So I will be bringing on Monday at least Amyitis and Metropolys. If I learn Hanging Gardens and/or Hermagor before then I will bring those too.

Even BETTER.

Rap Chop Drum remixGet Dennis doing this, Michael, and put Steve and Jon on the guitars, grab the mic, and this could be the next great Rock Band download. If they could put out GLADOS, they could definitely do this.
