Are you celebrating passing or just having the qual off your back? I didn't get qual results back for two weeks (but then again, ours was 100% written, no oral).
Passing. I am a candidate. Have the signed paperwork and everything.
Well congratulations then! Now just three years of thesis work to go...But hey, job security!
Job security indeed. Though we home it will be 2 years. And not three. Knowing my boss, it will be three. Oh well.

Love PhD comics. :) The current one -- on turing your CV into a resume -- so true. As for the time line. I only get paid for at most 3 more years. So I will graduate before that.
