BGG ticket for sale
It looks like I can't make it to the convention; rule #1 --with pregnancy MOD.
I will take the $60.00 I paid; if interested, email me at mtraviswhite@yahoo.com
Other than that, hope things are going well. I'll be off the entire week of Thanksgiving so hopefully I will get to see a few of you then.
Take care,
Travis

I'll take your rule #1 w/ pregnancy, and raise you birth of child on day 1 of the con... (I'm still trying to figure out if I can make it for a day or two of the conference though)
You may post on BGG as well, if you haven't already - I know there are usually people looking for registrations at the last minute there. I think we have a glut of folks NOT going to the con this year...
Wow! More babies!
Congrats, everyone. Ours is doing well, though we've seen a heck of a lot of moonlight lately.
Coming soon (hopefully) to my mail slot:

A card-driven wargame featuring San Antonio de Bexar was a must-buy.

So much for Star Wars pocket model... and all forms of Clix.
That board is amazing looking Ben - you'll have to let me know what the game itself is like. I've been tempted to order some prints of old maps from the Texas history archives, like these:
Map Of Mexico, Texas, Old and New California
City of San Antonio, 1889
Very interesting web sites, Sean.
I figure, if nothing else, Halls of Montezuma will teach me more about Texas history and Mexican geography.
Happy V-Day to everyone, btw.
Re: Halls of Montezuma (sic)
Wow! That map looks better than I expected. Looking forward to my latest P500 order.
Also picked up Pursuit of Glory. Looks interesting but I'm still trying to get my hands around Paths of Glory.
Mark, we'll have to try Pursuit out some time. It may be a while for me with the new baby, though. Perhaps PBEM of some kind.
In the mean time, Successors is a solid CDG. Steve has a copy as well if you want to try first.
I'm still debating what to do with my GMT Fall 2008 discount.
Lord of the Rings: Conquest on X-Box 360 (plus others) looks intriguing since there is so little new LotR content these days. However, Pandemic Studios' last effort, Mercenaries 2, was moderately lame, so I'm going to use extreme caution.
I seen Jon is somehow racking up achievements for all three alignments (good, neutral, evil) in Fallout 3. There must be a trick to doing that... I did find the glitch that enables easy acquisition of the Silver Tongued Devil achievement. I think my next perk is going to be strength-related, as I'm getting tired of managing my current 210 carrying capacity now that I have a lot of crafting recipes.
Oh... back to board games... anyone picking up Space Alert? Looks like a lot of fun, but the real-time mechanic of Space Dealer left me cold. After the Flood, which seems to be in sort of the same vein as Struggle of Empires or even Vinci, strikes my interest as well.
It's been a looooooooong time since my 360 served as anything but a Rock Band machine, but I'm enjoying the demos for both Left 4 Dead and Mirror's Edge right now.
I had three board games on my watch list:
Game of Thrones LCG - Fixed distribution version of a fantastic multiplayer CCG. Should be available any day now.
World of Warcraft Miniatures - Interest cooled by the high price and crappy paint jobs. If I do buy in, it'll be next month when the deluxe starters (six random figs & bases) become available.
Battlestar Galactica -- Never much liked the show, but I do love a good traitor game.
The Call of Cthulhu LCG has me thinking... non-collectible is a good think. If only Monsterapocalypse were non-collectible...
The new BSG board game teaser video on FFG's website looks good.
