Excellent clip, Rob! Enjoy yourself at the event tonight!
It's a great clip indeed. Youtube has the "live" version too, but this seems to make it even better.
BTW, the show was freaking awesome. I'd say up to par with "Dress to Kill" (but not better).
On the topic of Legos, check this out.
Lego Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon™
Check out the price and the number of pieces. I'm amazed this sells, but clearly there's a market for it.
OK, that Millennium Falcon is really cool. I wouldnt have the patience to put it together, but its kinda neat.
Eddie is awesome. I caught part of Dress to Kill several years ago in grad school on cable. I had never heard of him before that. He's been popping up in movies ever since then, though.
Ocean's 12 and 13, that vampire movie w/ Willem Dafoe (?) and Malkovich. A few others.
Cake or death indeed.
I just like the fact that he focuses on "intelligent comedy". He actually made a point of that at the beginning of his show.
"If you look at the fine print on your tickets, it should say "bringing your brain is mandatory for admission to the show"".
I think that "intelligent comedy" is the difference between American and British comedians. Not that I've seen all that many British stand up routines, but in general, British comedy seems to be more educated than American.
I would agree with that statement, Amy. I should watch more British comedy. In all my free time. ::sigh::
