Saturday Planning

Time to plan for Saturday.

Unfortunately, I can't come out to play. Work related obligations are hanging over my head and I need to really get them done before having fun. So, for those about to game...you might want to start making plans here.

Planning would be good. I wondered when the planning post would appear. Should anything occur this weekend my attendance would be after a morning full of work, aka sometime after lunch-ish.

I would like to put in a bid to drag Die Macher out; post if interested and I will bring it on Saturday (planning for DL as of now).

Chris,
Even though you are busy could you just leave a key under the front mat? We will try not to mess up the place.

I should be in for Saturday, but I might not be able to show up till lunch time.

DL would be more convenient for me, given that i will be working a lot on Saturday. More now that I thought (silly migraine cutting my day short) so events that occur might have a change of seeing me at them if its at DL.

Boo, Chris! I was hoping we could complete Level 3 of RtL.

I can meet at DL at 1000 hours. I'll bring a pile of fun games of various types. If anyone is up for 2-player wargaming of some kind, let me know. Ohterwise, I'll bring a variety.

Travis has been a good sport by playing whatever we put in front of him, so I'll add my name to Die Macher assuming someone is qualified to conduct a rules refrehser.

Steve, its been too long, buddy!

I may stop by at some point, but nobody should really be counting on me.

Believe me, while you guys are having fun, I will not be having fun. I will definitely be out Monday as well not having even more fun, but next Saturday should be open at my place so we'll get Descent on the table then.

You'll just have to sit there and brood and glare out over your steepled fingers for one more week, Mr. Evil Ben.

Speaking of people that are MIA, whatever happened to Dennis?

"End of semester" is happening to Dennis. Give him a couple of weeks, and then you won't be able to get rid of him.

Man, I hate that I'm missing Die Macher.

The end of semester bit is a sneaky sneaky thing. So are exams and poster presentations. If I can pin my boss down and get him to commit to anything then I will be in good shape. But considering two of the others in the lab havent even had their dissertation proposals read by the boss man, and one needs to graduate ASAP this might be an issue.

But that entire aside is to say what while these past few excessive gaming days have been fantastic, I should probably cut back to one gaming event per week, and hope that the research cooperates with my plan. (snickers)

Speaking of missing, where's Steve? Did he finally get fed up with SABG?

Rob, I had my feathers ruffled months ago. Someone who will remain nameless twisted a Maginot line comment.

Ben, tomorrow is shaky, but I have a shot at Monday mornings coming up.

When I am done with work tomorrow i will drop by DL and see if anyone is there. i expect to be done by about 1pm or so, but CCRI seems to be a time nexus. So we shall see.

Steve: I blame society... and Nexus Ops, which does a good job bringing out one's inner 12-year old.

I just picked up Simple Great Battles of History, which seems to be just a bit more flavorful than CC:A, yet still playable in 1-2 hours.

Here at DL... I will probably hang for a half hour or so to see if anyone shows.
