Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Because I've been thinking about Gaming in the Heart of Texas. Is anyone else going? (If I went, I'd probably crash with my brother, but it would be nice to know if a group is going before I decided).

[I'm assuming there's still space, which may be wrong, too].

As for other planning, Jacqui and I could host Friday, but there seems to be little interest of late. Which is a shame, because those Malevolent Lifeforms won't conquer themselves.

Comment away. Narf.

With rugrats of our own, the Friday night thing is hard to pull off... sigh.

Through the holidays the Austin con had slipped my mind. Hmm... The entry fee is negligible, but I could spend all Saturday playing games here as well as I could there.

I got an email letting me know that there was still openings (although the Hotel may not have rooms).

SABG has spoiled me and made me lazy. Plus, two conventions in the past 3-4 months already has scratched the itch pretty well.

Perhaps we can do our own GITHOT - SA this Saturday?

I know some Houstonians who are going... I shouldn't even consider it given that I'm flying out of town at the end of the month (vacation trip).

This Saturday is a definite no from me - Amy and I are celebrating 12 years, and I don't think a day of gaming will be the anniversary she's expecting. :)

Congrats Sean, that's great. You've got a beautiful family and reason to be proud.

The thought of a gaming convention close by is appealing, but mentally I'm just not ready to spend 3 days gaming right now. I got really excited for BGG.con (and had a great time) and that was FOUR days, but for some reason I feel like one day per weekend is enough for me at the moment. I'd like to meet some of the Austin people at some point, though.
