12/31?
Anyone showing up during the day at DL for some end of the year gaming? I'm in town, and don't have much going on during the day. Call me if you want to play anything. I could meet anyone at DL @10 AM or so.

So we had a fun-filled long day of gaming (after 3 long days of gaming at Houston's Lonestar gamers convention this past weekend....where my wife even played for almost 8hrs!!!! :-O ... )
Steve, Ben and Jon all ran away with it because I didn't win anything at all today. We played neuroshima hex (Ben and I), Glory to Rome (J, B, and I), Winds of Plunder (S, B, and I), and Perikles (S, B and I).
NH:I had tried it before as a 3 player game, but probably even better as a 2 player game. Would like to try with 4 though... probably even with teams.
Winds of Plunder: I'm adding it to my list of BGG marketplace games. If it sells, fine. If it doesn't, fine too.
Perikles: I forgot that a 3 player game still has some charm... but it still feels like the 4 or 5 player game is better.
GtR: The more I play, the better it gets. Today we had crazy scores of high 30's and 40's.

I'm glad you had some gamers with you today. I was running errands with the kids and passed close by. I thought of the fun that you all might be having.
As I write this my son is setting Arkham Horror. We have both really gotten into this game.
Somehow I managed to pull off a hat trick with victories in NH, GtR, and Perikles.... could this be a sign of things to come in 2008? Certainly not, but still it was great fun to spend the afternoon gaming and good to see Rob again.
