Monday

I'll be at Dragon's Lair at the typical time (4pm). Jon and I are going to knock out my week #1 game (vs Michael's Twins). I'm sure there will be some baseball games after that, but I'm going to try to play other things too. (If someone wants even more baseball, you can run Michael's team for its week 2 match against Jon). What will be played? Depends on what everyone brings.

Games that need to be played:

WEEK 1

Yankees at Twins
Padres at Mets

WEEK 2

Twins at A's
Mets at Dodgers
Cards at Padres

I'd really like to get my Week 2 games in with Sean, since I'll be in Mexico next week. Otherwise I'm up for whatever.

One general suggestion for the baseball league: if players post their starting pitchers (or even just probable starters) online, then both teams can probably make their lineups ahead of time. That will likely save 10-20 minutes (which, out of 2 hours, is pretty good).

If the weather looks like rain, I will try to drop by. If it looks good, I will do the tourist thing with family.

Sorry about not posting starters, long day.

My first starter is Suppan. I think the second is Sosa.

I need to change Hoffman - when I checked the cards, he's not a starter... Let me go with C Young instead. We'll see if he gives you 5 runs in the second also...

Yikes, I should have noticed that. Trevor Hoffman is *the* reliever, the first pitcher to 500 saves in MLB history. Not that the save stat means anything.

I used Sosa last night (spectacularly, I might add), so switch my game 2 starter to Jeff Weaver.

Oh, and Yadier Molina was hit by a pitch only 8 times in 2006, so the fact that he was hit in consecutive innings last night was just a statistical fluke. Or Jon was headhunting.
