Gaming at Patrick's on Wed
Hey hey.
Chimaericon was surprisingly successful. I managed to sell a bunch of games and even traded HP for Arkham horror. Anyone played it? I have yet to find a cooperative game that is worth a damn. I'm hoping that this one will finally fit the bill.
Anyways...gaming Wednesday @ 7pm. I'm talking to you Kendahl.

Arkham Horror is great! It's hit the table several times recently at Dragon's Lair. Not only is Arkham Horror a good cooperative game, but I also enjoy playing the game solo.
Arkham has a great theme and is a beautiful game, but I can't quite recommend it. I have played twice, and each time has been with a big group. Both times have left me sort of cold. I'd like to play with a group of about 4, and it might have real solo potential.
Your mileage may vary.
I say 3 maybe 4 is optimal. Don't try it with more, SPECIALLY on your first run... you will be disappointed if you do.
I should be there.
Arkham Horror in my book is an alright game. I think the game just lasts way to long as I tend to get bored with the game about a half hour before the game is over.
Playing it with the 7 people like we did last time is not the way to go, and I do not think I want to play with more than 4 if we play it.
I will most likely be there. I'm up for anything. Arkham Horror is ok.
I was going to say the same thing about too many players last time we played, but I was afraid my comments might get taken the wrong way.
I too think four players is ideal. More than that and the game seems a bit like a stock market floor trading session.
Hmmm...I figured I couldn't find a good cooperative game. Oh well. If Kendahl shows up we will play Goa.
