Mashup Gaming

I'll be at DLair Monday night at the typical time.

Reports on consumption of mass popular culture? See below!

We just got Wii Sports Resort. Reports later, but my general feeling is WSR is an admission that "Hey, the motion controller thing didn't quite work, but now with that adapter it almost works!" But I'll make sure to get the kids off that for 1v100 Family Trivia tonight...

And I finally listened to my copy of Girl Talk's Feed the Animals. Catchy, clever and 1-2 moments of true beauty.

The new Harry Potter movie does, in fact, exist. It is exactly what you think it will be.

And I'm slowly catching up with the new season of Burn Notice, which is probably the most fun anyone on TV is allowed to have.

I am once again a maybe; the higher the likely attendance the more likely I can get a kitchen pass.

I am planning on playing various forms of video games.

Dennis: If you can meet me there for a quick swap at 1700 hours, we could conclude our transaction.

So I might be coming. Maybe. But I am still hesitant. Unless the Wiles need a babysitter. Depends.

Is "quick swap" code for 5 games of BSG? Seems like a reasonable assumption to me.

Or maybe 20 games of Race...

Ben: Done.

5 games of BSG? That sounds like paradise. Yup. Paradise.

5 games of BSG beats 20 games of Race

Back to not coming. Sorry for the oscillation on the status. Have fun playing BSG.

I'll be coming, but I don't know BSG...

Don't wrooy, Tiff. We didn't actually play five games of BSG.

Oh wait. That's exactly what we played.

Wasn't it only 4?

There was some non race gaming. And blizzards, delicious blizzards.

I only got one!

Sorry, Dennis. I got jammed up at work, so I had to rush straight home.

What flavor Blizzard? Beef?

I did finish adventue mode in Plants vs. Zombies last night. I'm now unlocking the rest of the achievements, which unfortunately won't help my XBox gamerscore.

Anyone play the Alien Mothership add-on for Fallout? I am about three DLCs behind. Fallout 3 is the game that RRODed my first box.

Jon is done with all the DLC that has been released yet. I haven't even completed the main game. Motion sickness plus other factors lead to me not really enjoying it.

I've been redoing Mass Effect. Ben, I don't know if you were there when I said it, but if you haven't bought the DLC for it yet, please don't. I have a disc that you can pop in and pull the DLC off for free. Obviously this goes for anyone who may want the Mass Effect DLC.

Butterfinger for me, Heath for Steve.
