Small victories
I've figured out how to beat Chop Suey consistently, and managed to hail mary my way through Master Exploder once...that may be the only time ever for that song, but at least I can usually get far enough to be saved if there's a group.

Anyone picked up Civilization 4: Colonization yet? Looks tasty!
Not me (I would obviously be a top suspect for doing so).
I will pick it up at some point I think, but right now I'm occupied by other pursuits.
Since it is based on the Civ 4 engine and not on the horrible Civ Revolution engine, I have hopes that it may be decent.
I definitely definitely want Colonization. I've been waiting for it. I'll get it when I get back in town.
I got Lego Batman for the XB. It's a serious blast. Extremely well done. WELL worth the money.
We need to plan this weekend.
The Xbox microphones are really hard to hear, but I think Dennis will be out of town Saturday. I think he said he could host NFL/RB2 Sunday. But don't quote me on that until he appears and confirms this.
He may have been saying "I like pie" for all I know.
I could host RB2/college football on saturday. I believe LSU is on espn at night but I will double check. Again I can go with the 2 tv system.
Ok I read a little bit about it on civfanatics.
Lots of people are commenting that it is very difficult on even the lower difficulty settings.
I'm not sure what to think about this. I never got to the point where I could win on Deity consistently on Civ 4 with any Civ and I think many of the "Deity" players rely on lucky starts and powerful Civs to boost their game.
So this is somewhat scary that people are having trouble with the easy difficulties. Maybe it is unfamiliarity with the game.
I distinctly remember the previous Colonization as being very difficult. Between revolting colonists, natives, and other powers, it always seemed someone was tearing my beautiful little empire to shreds.
Chris: How is the co-op on Lego Batman?
I've been playing Pure, an ATV game with really fun crash physics. Big air, crazy tricks, it's like X-Games on steroids.
I can host NFL/RB2 on Sunday, if people are interested. I also like pie.
Please to be telling more about this pie.
Microsoft Point cards ~20% off (makes them a little under a penny a point). The 1600 point cards are slightly better deals than the 4000 point cards thanks to rounding. If you buy 2 1600 point cards you are eligible for the free shipping (and this is tax free so no worries about that).
I bought a few.
