Planning

Given that it seems the only thing happening this weekend is RB2 Party, which is fun, and I believe that i will be there, I suppose I should bring about the mention of Monday. Who will be there. I might have acquired a copy of Scepter of Zavendor that i want to play. I might even read the rules before Monday. But if no one wishes to play that there is always the Gric, and I'm sure other things will make an appearance. So comment. And plan. :)

A first time game of Scepter is going to take you a little while. My one experience was at BGG.con, on the last day (so we were all tired and distracted) but it took a LONG time.

I'm 80% likely to be there - most models point to it, although there are a few statistical anomalies. (Cheesy hurricane reference. I'm tired and still at work.)

At some point I'm going to read the rules to Masons and bring it as well. And I'm always up for another game of Agricola.

Masons, that looks interesting. And Agricola is always good. :)

Most of us our Scepter vets. You might not even need to read the rules since you can lazily let Brian explain them or something.

22 hours 15 minutes.

Stupid time, be more speedy.

I should sleep that might speed up the process.

Question:

Sean, are you around today? I've discovered that I can get 32 bucks trade in value for Rock Band at Blockbuster and I could stop by sometime today for you to get the license/copy the songs later to save you a rental fee in case the rest of the gang decides to dump their originals too. Dennis has already copied the songs.

Chris, are you keeping your copy for now? If so I won't worry too much about getting this over to Sean before I get to Blockbuster.

$32 trade in for a game that old is very juicy. I need to start checking Blockbuster before I shamble blindly to Gamestop with my trades.

Tiff -- As Michael noted, we have at least 3 scepter experts floating around. Scepter is definitely 30 minutes per player (and likely 45 if many of them haven't played before). Stick with 3-4.

Sean -- I've played Masons, but I hate Colovini's oevre. Masons is one of his least objectionable games, which is like Roger Corman's biggest budget flick.

And remember -- bonus gaming on saturday!
