Monday Planning

Since I am taking a vacation week this coming week my presence at Monday night gaming is a pretty good bet. How about you? (My hopes of being able to show up early if anybody else's schedule allowed are not dead but they are also not overly optimistic given other plans.)

does anybody have any interest in a fantasy football league?

I'll be there around Jon-ish times, with T&E, Stage II, and baseball. No football for me, I like to focus exclusively on my decade-old Caltech league.

I would like to be there. Fairly certain that won't be happening. We shall see. I might drop by and say hello or something.

I'll be there, 6ish. Baseball is possible... although I'm viewing it as more of a duty than a joy right now...

Sean/other sabblers,
What would you think if we capped the season at two times playing each other team and then took a month to electronically draft or auction new teams?

I will be there around 6:00.

As a side-note, I had to sift through my antiquated, water-damaged, comic box in preparation for a garage sale. I managed to wittle my keepers down to around 1/3 of the original box.

The paradox unfolds as you are trying to sift through and effectively get rid of old comics, it sparks your interest anew! I found myself bringing old graphic novels back into the house from the garage to read them again!

What are your fave graphic novels, Travis?

BTW, the new Watchmen movie looks positively fantastic. If you haven't read the GN, do so now.

The new Batman movie.... pretty good, though a tad long in my opinion. Best Joker ever though. Its a terrible shame he won't be back.

GMT package arrived right on schedule. Kutuzov has great production values. GMT's game artwork is really getting quite nice. Now if they'd only mount the mapboards...

The new edition of Napoleonic Wars looks pretty cool too. Still, I'm committed to getting Here I Stand on the table before punching either of these. Now to do so before Successors arrives, which will trump all others.
