Twilight Imperium
There has been some talk about a TI3 game this week. Nothing would please me more than a good game, but if we go this weekend then I will have to be content with a good session report. There is too much going on at my house this weekend. So if there must be a TI3 game, then please allow me the honor of starting the planning post here and now. If a game does not come to pass, then perhaps I can suggest that we plan for one on or around the week of Christmas or New Years? I may be able to host then.

I'm in if we can get a minimum of four players signed up.
My son has a basketball tournament at 9 AM, otherwise I'd play. I'll be able to show for any afternoon gaming if that happens.
I think Conquest of the Empire is far more fun, but maybe I haven't given TI a proper chance.
Ignoring Steve's blasphemy for a moment....
If we don't have a quorum for TI:3 I am in favor of a morning game of something shorter like StarCraft, Arkham, or various other things, with the potential of something with Steve joining in the afternoon.
Conquest of the Empire is a great game, and probably just as intensely competitive as War of the Ring. I can't wait to play again.
I too will look the other way at Steve's unholy comment. My morning engagement may have been cancelled on Saturday, but with an afternoon birthday party to take my son to, TI3 is still out for me. If we were able to play CotE or Arkham in the morning, I could go for that.
But I will still need to confirm that my morning engagement has been canceled. I would like to say for the 20th time or so how much I liked Arkham...but not more than TI3.
You know a game is long when Arkham Horror is shorter.
As for Saturday, my morning activity is cancelled and I have obtained a pass to game. Are there any plans? I do not have my house to myself this weenend, so I could not offer to host unless it would be just one or two people.
I also will have to bug out at about 1:00 pm or so.
