Saturday Gaming
Alrighty, gamers! Its time to start talking up board gaming on Saturday. I can host unless someone else desires to take the lead. If I host, then I can kick things off at 0800 hours, with stragglers highly welcome if we know you're on the way! I'm up for short, medium, or long games on Saturday, and I'm able to play until late afternoon.
**** Update *****
Current proposal is to start at 1000 at Dragon's Lair on Saturday. Bring a few games and any willing friends. We'll play until the last person has to leave. See you there!

I'm a maybe for now, and if a yes, only for the morning or so.
We were talking about doing TI3 on Saturday, if we get enough players. If so, I would like to know ASAP because I'll have to take the Friday Night Training Session first. Please respond if you're interested.
If not TI3, I would vote for CofE, or I have a three player called Web and Starship I'd like to try.
Don't let me stop you from doing TI3 though. If that's the way to go, more reason for me to try to stay later. CotE sounds good too (the 3 player game we tried once left me wanting to try it with the full complement of players).
CotE = ?
I have a few hours in the morning. My first preference would be for a 2 player game, but I'm open to others.
BL
CC:E
War of 1812
Hammer
Liberty
EF (though I can't finish, I'd love to start)
Wilderness War
Arkham Horror (not strictly 2 p)
I'm willing to host any of the above or others starting at 0800, but I need to be available to Meredith starting at 1200.
Email me w/ suggestions, plans, etc
I should be available. If we do TI3, my offer still holds to give a short training session the night before. CoE would also be very welcome.
Would anyone mind if I brought a buddy from work?
BTW - Nice Spock picture!
I will not be able to make it since I spent Monday in the ER. Everything is okay but need to catch up.
I am 99.99% sure CotE = COE = Conquest of the Empire.
I hope that CotE = COE = Conquest of the Empire because that's what I have been thinking all this time.
In my book COE = CotE = Conquest of the Empire 2 by Eagle Games, which I'm always willing to play if we have 4-6 players.
I don't think we have enough folks firmly expressing enthusiasm and committment for a full TI:3 session.
Mark, I hope you're okay, buddy!
Ted, your offer is intriguing, but I hate to shut out other willing gamers.
Right now it looks like we have me, Carlos, Rob, Ted, Al, Carlos' friend... probably Steve... that's seven, which is too many for me to host. I've also heard various grumblings about our start time being too early.
How about we just start at 1000 at DL? Everyone bring a few games, and we'll see what pans out.
I like Ben's idea.
Hey, Michael, this means you might be able to make it... :)
I need to be at home by 1200. Taking out travel time and the confusion during arrival, and that leaves ~1.5 hrs, optimistically. Not a great ROI on 0.5 hrs of travel time.
I'll look forward to the session report.
Bummer!
If anyone is planning on playing but arriving after 1000, please post or make sure to call that morning so we don't starting something big without you (e-mail me for the cell number if you don't have it).
I won't be able to attend. :(
I should be able to swing by around 10.
Chad: Hooray!
Rob: Boo!
Even if we don't play TI3, could someone bring the rules so I can look them over between turns?
Al: The complete set of TI:3 rules is available for free download at FFG's website.

Yuck. Things came up. I won't be showing up. Maybe next weekend.
Well, I can show up after all. Probably for 2-3 hrs tops....maybe more. I'll give you a call Ben before 10am.
Strong showing for a Saturday:
Steve, ben, Chris, Al, Carlos, and Jerry (Carlos's friend).
I only played Cave Troll (Steve and I ended up tied for first... it actually has NO tie breakers), and 1 game of Take Stock (Steve ran away with it).
BTW Ted, it was good seeing you. Hope everything goes well.
It was nice to see you, Ted. You'll be busy for a long while (18+ years).
Rob posted something unusual. Steve. Ran away with it. Phrases ofen seen on their own, seldom together.
Epic Duels with lots of players is supremely fun because you can spend the entire game pointing out the selfish play of your fellow team members. There's no I in team, but ME has its place.
