I have two old games that I've had for years but never found players. A three player game Web and Starship, an old West End game by Greg Costkyan, and Kingmaker by Avalon Hill. These would take hours to play, so it would be best to plan ahead of time. Anyone interested some Tuesday?

Al,

Glad to see you figured out how to make posts.

That picture has me a little worried. How much backstabbing is in these games?

How many players?

Argh! I meant some MONDAY. The group meets for open gaming on MONDAY. I don't know why I said Tuesday.

To answer Ted's questions, Web and Starship is 3 player head-to-head war game. No backstabbing is possible, you know everyone's your enemy.

Kingmaker is multiplayer. I don't know, I've never played it.

I just chose the picture because everyone else spiced up their posts with images and it was the only one I had that might apply to gaming. I don't think any of my paintings by Bergureau or Delacroix would fit the bill.

I think it's a sweet picture... reminds me of Michael.

I'd be interested in Kingmaker (specially since it seems to resemble .... was it the upcoming Wars of the Roses by Columbia Games?). Not tomorrow, but someday. Plus I didn't get to EastFront during bgg.con so that has priority.

Man, first people were getting Jon and Simon confused. Now Rob is getting me and Jon confused. This is getting ridiculous.

Yes, Jon is the arch-backstabber!

Clearly we need to play more negotiation games.

One of these days I'd really like to play Game of Thrones... I have the full set, but just haven't played them.

Ben: Game of Thrones isn't that back-stabby in my opinion though there is some negotiation. With a few fixes (none of which I have any clue on initiating), GoT could be in my top ten easy.

On another note, I still don't know how everyone got me and Jon confused. I don't think we could be any different other than a/s/l demographics.

...That's age, sex, location - NOT advanced squad leader...

Plus 99-100% of the time that I "backstab" someone, I'm positive that the "victim" is concealing WMDs. Hooray preemptive strikes.
