Gaming 11/6

Another week goes by, and as always a new Monday lurks around the corner...which means more gaming. Just posting this knowing that there has been a recent increase in people interested in joining us on Mondays, so yes, you are all welcome. We are tired of the same faces...I mean, playing styles...I mean....

bottomline, we are always up for new gamers.

I can be there as early as 11am'ish. Whoever is showing up at that time, give me a call. I have to work at 5pm though, so I should be leaving by 3pm or so. Sorry Ted...we'll do EastFront some day. I'll be playing it at BGG.CON, so i'll let you know how it goes.

I'll bring a few multi-player euros as well as War of 1812 and Battle Cry.

I just finished reading 1776, and now I'm sorely tempted to bring Liberty (Columbia's block treatment of the Am Rev) into our gaming group...

Oh, as usual, I won't be arriving until about 6:30.

Ted, you'd probably like reading Crucible of War, sort of a prequel to 1776 about the Wilderness War. An excellent read.

BGG Con?? You lucky dog!

I need to switch my regular day off to Mondays....

Sorry, I have to give Monday a miss.... I'll be taking an exam instead.

Great picture BTW.

Yep, pretty excited. Will be playing EastFront 2 and maybe The Conquerors: Alexander the Great. Plus the Essen highlights are a priority. Should try out Die macher 2d ed too now that it's out... I'll have my camera with me and will post some pics here.

Excellent. Now if we could just rig up a real-time Rob-cam so we could watch the gameplay over the net...

I keep hoping they'll change the date of next years convention to not be the same weekend as my wedding anniversary!

The only reason Liberty hasn't shown up on my doorstep is that it's out of stock at Boulder Games.

I've read the rules and I'm ready to play as soon as it's brought to the table....

Dude Rob, you best represent playa'. I ain't frontin' neither else I be gettin' all up in yo' grill foo'. Straight talk.

You could do an iron on of the logo on a dark blue shirt that would look awesome. I could send you a better quality image or tell you how to do it more in detail (you may have noticed I made a good portion of the shirts I wear).

SABG, boy! Sup?

Brian,

In that case lets just say I won and call it good at that.

I think the rule he got wrong was that lowest score wins. Sorry Jon, I ran away with it.

What game are you guys talking about?

Ben, I suspect part of 11/6's session report leaked into this post.

Simon, I'm sending you an email. I've actually toyed around with making 1 very simple but cool (IMO) shirt design. I might end up making it for the con. I have the light shirt paper...not the dark shirt one.

Dude! Awesome! Looking forward to it!

I downloaded the rules, and I've been looking through them.

I noticed it's one of highest rated games on the subject on BGG.

Bottle Imp, one of the most counterintuitive trick taking games ever, ever. It was pretty interesting though.

If we came up with a decent design, I'd be up for buying a couple SABG t-shirts...

Rob and I are discussing it...

If there's enough interest, I could be convinced to learn how to silk screen...
