More Fun with Panzer Blitz Counters

Nerd alert! Nerd alert!

To celebrate getting promoted by the USAF, I just made some new counters of myself. Of course, I gave myself the ratings of a JagPz V...

Back in the days when I was going through officer training, I would motivate myself by striving to perform to the level of at least a 9-1 ASL leader and never ever like the dreaded 6+1!

Congrats on the promotion, Ben!

I guess you get to self rally now after administration phases (at +1 of course)!

I've had to work with a few 6+1's in the military... luckily they seem to be balanced out by the 10-3's out there. A Captain I once worked for modified his uniform when we deployed to include a leather belt with gunmetal belt buckle worn over his BDUs along with an olive green ascot scarf. At least he stopped before adding pearl-handled revolvers and swagger stick!

Congratulations on your promotion, Ben. I know that going from Major to Lt. Col is a very big step. Good work with the Panzer Blitz counters, but I thought a counter from Panzer Leader would have been more appropriate.

I was going to do Panzer Leader green, but I couldn't find the right color shade. I figured this was close enough to AF blue.

I definitely wouldn't put myself on an evil German gray counter! The Huns actually killed most of my grandfather's family in Belgium during the Paths of Glory days, so I usually enjoy seeing them lose on the tabletop.

Congratulations on your promotion, Ben.

But from now on, I expect a handicap when we play wargames. I mean, sheesh, you kill bad guys professionally, but I just do it for fun.

Hm...that sounds wrong somehow....

Congrats, Ben...uh..I mean, sir. Damn, I didn't even know you were a major. Do you have your sights set on general?

Gee, thanks, guys! As a civil engineer I just help build things that help airplanes go do various the things they do. I'm just in the AF Reserve now, so this isn't as big of a deal as it might be. There's no way I'm going to make General. Currently, there isn't a single AF Reserve civil engineer in the entire USAF, and my wife would be very upset if I volunteered for any of the more career enhancing opportunities in the military these days...

You mean apart from you? Or did you miss the word "General" in there somewhere.

Is your ZOC larger now?

congrats.

Yes, I meant not a single Civil Engineer in the USAF holding the rank of General. Thankfully, my ZOC can stay the same.
