Father Time, Jerk or Big Jerk?
On a side note, I would like to see if it is possible to maybe attach a calendar to the blog, or something like the same, to track when people are available/not available for gaming. If it's too big a hassle then just forget about it. I know I'm going to have a hard time making it to sessions from here on out as I have class till 8:15 PM Monday and Wednesday, and till 9:45 PM Tuesday and Thursday. Fridays are completely free as are weekends, but not much gets scheduled around then. So if people could post their approximate schedules either way, it'd be nice for tracking and timing purposes.

Simon, I'm totally off work on every other Friday, so I can see us being able to get some gaming in then.
In the mean time, I'm thinking Dragons Lair on Monday or Tuesday nights will be my default gaming proposal, with other days/nights as schedule allows.
I don't know how to code a calendar onto a website...
I calendar would be cool, and this semester is also weird for me, I get off of school every night at 6:45. So, Im not as bad as Simon but still not too good.
You wouldn't have to code it so much as link to a free e-calendar service on the main page or something. Googling "e-calendar" or "calendar host" yeilds a good amount of results.
Just an idea, nothing more.
I couldn't agree more with this feature. I brought the idea up one time by email when we were only like 4 guys in the group....but the idea fizzled. Now it really makes a lot a sense with so many on board. Plus it looks like finally I'm not the only one with unforgiving schedules.
This is hell week for me, but I'll put some energy into checking it out on Friday. I did some Googling and found a few that looked promising.
All, I put up a test calendar link... please see if it works for you. You should be able to add events as you wish (as can anyone visiting the site right now...) I'm not 100% pleased with this solution, but apparently Google is releasing Google Calendar in the near future, which should make integration with the blog a total snap.
To add, modify, or delete events, just go here:

I'll e-mail everyone the username and password this evening.
...a bit cumbersome... perhaps the Google calendar will be better. Anyone have any better ideas?
Okay, I've added all the events I could remember as upcoming, plus an all-day game fest for 20 Feb 2006 (President's Day) at Dragons Lair.
Oh... the bad news... the calendar is good for a one month free trial... after that its $10/year. Pretty cheap, but I'm hoping for Google.
Hmmm....I'm still looking around.
Hey Ben, take it easy. If this is hell week for you just put this off. It really isn't a big deal, just something to consider whenever someone has the freetime and access to do it (assuming everyone thinks it's a good idea).
I do think it's funny though, that once again, Google puts out the best product in a market niche for free.
Long live Google!
Okay, I found a better solution. Scrap the previous info.
To enter the calender, just click on the SABG link on the right side of the blog page.
