Gaming, 30 Nov 2005
Perhaps this is a sign of game addiction, but I hope some of you are interested in getting together to play games on Wednesday evening, 30 Nov 2005.
Unfortunately, I'll be deploying to California for a week with the military starting 4 December, then out of town on business the following week... So, I'm just hoping to get one last gaming fix that will last me for a few weeks.
Who's up for it?

I have 2 problems this month. First I'm flying to PR from the 15th to the 26th. Secong, my shifts are now from 7am to 7pm (ALTHOUGH I only have 8 shifts total....sweet). Of course, on 11/30, I have a shift. I'm addicted too, but it may be hard for me to make it.
My January schedule will be even weirder. We'll see when we get there.
Amy will be out of town that week, so if there's gaming, I'll be there.
I think I will be able to make it. After missing too many games, I'm aching to play.
Reading about the amazing game day over T-day break makes me sooo jealous.
I am down for some gaming! But...where will it be? I've got to watch my baby, so if we could do it at my place, I'd be in.
Sounds good to me. I promised my spousal unit I'd be home by 10 PM on weeknights, so I'll need to cut out by 9:15 PM. However, I could start as early as 6 :00 PM.
Hmmm....sounds like it may be fun this wed...
If you are looking for more people on wednesday I am free for sure and I think Simon is also. If you want I can bring any game on that I have listed that I own on BGG under Ardneh42.
So Patrick is hosting this week? Starting at 600 (1800 for you AF types)? Could someone email me directions?
6:00 sounds good to me. Baby won't be in bed yet, but she won't be a problem...or I'll...

I think the best way to get directions is to use mapquest, but if someone wants specific help finding the place, email me.
Hmmm...would love to go. If I do, it will be a last minute thing and will probably be around 8pm.

As much as I'd love to I've got a rather stomach turning final to look foward to in that time slot. -Hopefully next time.

Last night we had another natural gas explosion in our attic, once again launching my now quite pathetic looking gas vent cover into the air and down to the end of my driveway. Alas, it seems our brand new furnace is still leaking gas.
We have a repairman coming out at 1600 hours today. Hopefully we'll be back in business by 1700, which would mean I could be there at 1800 hours. I'll call if it looks like I'm not going to make it.
If you see a large mushroom cloud in the direction of Alamo Heights, just assume I won't be making it...
Well, I couldn't make it. Session report?
I'll let someone else do an official blog post with a session report since I left early. We played Powergrid (Patrick victorious) and Hoity Toity (Kendahl win).
Powergrid... very meaty... lots of variables to manipulate and plan... I need to play more before I can decide whether I really dig it. Strangely, it actually feels like a railroad game to me, almost like you're laying track and buying locomotives rather than laying powerlines and buying powerplants.
I do wish someone would have brought Bang!. I'm planning on picking it up sometime soon just for such occasions. With six players we could have had a good match.
