I've created a monster...
Literally and figuratively... Just finished my first Space Hulk figure after 6+hrs of painting. I wish I was a comformist. But nooooo, I have to do things the hard way. And the worst part? I loved every minute of it.
soon we'll have you dry brushing, highlighting, lowlighting, and learning the infamous dip technique. Batch painting, the list goes on and on. I've been painting mini's since '91, we have indeed seen th birth of a monster.

Yeah....your trained eye may not see it there, but there is an attempt at highlighting, washing for shadows, and drybrushing for some highlights.
Nice work!
I have not taken the time to paint mine. Maybe when I get ready to do so, I'll be asking y'all for some tips. :)
It looks great. I'm jealous- I hope mine turn out reasonably decent whenever I get around to them. Hopefully that's sometime in 2010.
Great job! I'm very impressed. I can't wait to see your Space Marines.
