Weekend planning

I'm working Friday night, which likely means I'm sleeping Saturday morning. So I'm not hosting the usual gaming. BUT--

There's some football games on Saturday that are kind of important. It's a pretty good bet I'll be watching those, and there may be some people that want to watch the games as well. So for those who want to come over at 2:30pm for the Florida/Alabama matchup and stick around for the Texas/Nebraska game afterwards, you're welcome to come by.

I'm also hosting formal gaming next Saturday, so if football isn't your thing, hopefully we'll see you next weekend.

Definitely out for football this Saturday; extremely unlikey for gaming next Saturday; hopefully back to regularly scheduled gaming starting a week from Monday.

I can't quite believe it myself, but I'm running a 5k Saturday afternoon. See y'all Monday if I survive.

If there would be any sort of gaming at all in there, then stopping by for a bit would be tempting, since I need to be in that neck of the woods anyways for the Nano TGIO party.

I've got important things to do...

-continue despruing my space hulk figs, prime them, practice on my starcraft figurines....

-install Civ IV with Fall from heaven on my laptop...

-play some more Dragon Age...the RPG that never ends.

So unfortunately I can't make it.

Woo hoo, Dennis! Great job.

Anyone interested in joining a running club, the one I'm in meets in the Alamo Heights and/or Hill Country Village areas about 5 days a week, with a fairly wide range of abilities/goals. I organized a sub-group for 17 miles tomorrow at 6 AM, but other, less obsessive runners are starting at 7 AM to do 3-5 miles.

Well, I seem to have slain another X-Box 360 Elite. The little black box that could is now failing to read discs and won't eject unless rebooted. I'm now out of conventional warranty, so farewell to $99 plus tax for official repair.

Nonetheless, I was having a fantastic time with Borderlands. My character actually yelled, "Suck it!" after scoring a critical hit head shot last night.

Besides post-apocalyptic machine gunning, I'm actually replaying KoToR ($2.50 on the PC via Steam over the Turkey Day weekend) and Ambush. I've named all my Ambush squad members after SABG members, so I should have an entertaining AAR shortly. We'll see who survives through the base game...

I'm tempted by Das Football, but probably just the late game ... I've got early afternoon plans.

Was someone there to restart Chris's heart after the instant replay?

It was absolute craziness at my place. Steve, Jon, Michael and I were going crazy.

I don't have words to describe that game other than ugly.

Wow. I'm speechless.

Are you still planning on hosting 12/12? Can you send me details? Thanks
