Ticket to Ride Tournament at BGG.con

There is a qualifier tournament for the Ticket to Ride National Championship at BGG.con this weekend. Although most tournaments can be entered with a signup at the registration desk according to this post, the Ticket to Ride tournament website states that you have to sign up on the TTR website AND at the convention. It's free, so for anyone who wants to take a shot at the big prize (including a trip to the Gathering), why not sign up?

I've not played this game very often. I really do need to put it in my collection.

I'm considering the "Spielathon". Anyone interested? It is a bunch of hours though.

Hrm. The spielathon is a possibility - a good cause, plus a LOT of potential prizes...

Anyone leaving for the con AFTER 5pm on Wednesday? Worst case I can drive myself - my wife and kids are meeting me in Dallas on Friday, so I was hoping to bum a ride up there, but I'm in mandatory meetings Wednesday...

Sure, I'm definitely in for the Spielathon. We may actually have more than four of us that are interested, I bet.

I signed up for the TTR thing, but I'm not really interested expending precious Con gaming time playing Wits and Wagers during the Spielathon.

Now... the GMT-a-thon Thursday night sounds good. Just play a GMT game during 9PM-12AM Thursday night to score a chance at a free game from them.

Well... okay... its possible I could be talked into it. Saturday night at 5PM I'll probably be a bit fried anyway.

I could do it as well. Though not sure I am any good at wits and wagers. It is a good cause.

Sean, I'll send you an email. I'm leaving by 5:30pm.

Ben, you want to play Hellenes at the GMT-A-thon then?

Yes, but we need to start a bit earlier than 2100 hours...

Well, we could always go for the 2hr scenario...see how it goes as we learn the system, then try a longer one if we can handle it. I'm up for that.
