monday planning

So who is up for Monday night at DL? I suppose some folks might even have Columbus day off but not being among them I expect to be there in the 5:15-30 range. So will Monday night be Columbus day themed? Come and find out.

I should be there, the usual 6ish timeframe. I vote yes for Columbus theme, since I'm pretty sure he started off from Torres before stopping at Tikal, then continued discovering the new world, and getting everyone started farming, like in Agricola.

Sean -- I am liking this theme. However I cannot guarantee that i will be there. Depends how much work related computer work I get done tonight. And tomorrow. Since it is not a UTHSCSA holiday. So sad.

Though the 6-8 games of Agricola played tonight (2 with Chris and Michael -- then at least 3 with Chris -- or was it 4 (Chris -- some help here? Please? -- my brain is fuzzy -- ) means I might actually me amenable to something in addition to Agricola. And Tikal is always a willing to play in my book.

I will most definitely not be there tonight. Work will keep me occupied.

I'm probably there tonight around 5:00. We can sort through the box scores tonight and figure out the record and all.

Oh, and it was six games, Tiff. :-)

I like 2 player Agricola- it's like speed Agricola. The game moves very fast, only 4 moves per round for the beginning, and often a lot of the moves are no-brainers. Especially at the beginning- the first two moves are 3 wood and an occupation in some order.

Yesterday was like a parched man who finds a drinking fountain. Gulp gulp! We played a lot of Agricola but it was always enjoyable.

It was greatly enjoyable. I think the 2 player needs to happen again. It certainly goes faster than the multi player. Less (though not completely) having to worry about others taking your moves. Either that or we are getting better at discerning what cards are good and bad as far as occupations and improvements go.
