Monday Planning Post

After working 36 hours in a row, I may be a bit tired when it comes to Monday evening gaming. But since we didn't get in any games this weekend, I may just have to push past the limits of human endurance for the sake of having fun. Anyone planning to come by Dragon's Lair Monday evening? If I am not comatose, I'm looking at being there about 5pm (+/- time for food beforehand).

I am almost definitely in. I will likely be later then normal for me because of an end of day meeting. Best case 5:45 worst case ??? If Sean can attend and is still up for it hopefully we can get in the first 2 games of the world series of SABBL. I don't know if anybody else from SABBL has any thoughts regarding position player rest rolls in the series and pitcher rest?

I'm out. New countertops and kitchen appliances being installed = mass chaos and destruction at home.

What game is that picture from?

I'm coming straight after a high school talk, so 6:30-7 depending on number of questions.

It's from Oltremare - Merchants of Venice.

(My RB2 bundle has shipped. The angels are singing--or is that just Michael singing "We Got the Beat?")

I think I am out. I am not anywhere near finishing what I need to for work. So unless my lab meeting creates itself, my grant revisions finish themselves, and I get all this data processed before 6 tomorrow, I will not show.

But miracles might happen. Who knows.

SO Chris ordered his RB2 bundle after I RMAed my drums and it is going to be a race to see who gets their stuff first.

Grrr.

I'm doing the slow free Amazon shipping. It will be a surprise if they are here before this time next week.

I'll be there - baseball to start with, and hopefully have time for another game after that...

The talk starts later than I thought, looking more like 7-7:30 now, but I *will* be there.

So I am 100% out. Tracking number shows the drums arriving tonight so I'm not going to go out and potentially have them sitting in front of my house for 6+ hours.

This week's DLC is a Nirvana 7 pack including Polly which allegedly has 3 notes total in the drums.

I guess this is for when a song like Silver is too hard.

What's that impressive looking game in the picture on this thread?

So the drum trainer stuff doesn't look to bad. Half of the "stuff" on 180 bpm isn't too terribly hard and if I was competent I could do it myself.

Unfortunately, unless I actually work at it I won't be competent.

This is where Dennis comes in.

I've finished about 15 of the fills stuff on 180 bpm (need 8 more).

The beats stuff I need more. But There is enough easy stuff that I'm sure Dennis can run right through it really quick.

Ted! Hey, stranger! Come play more games with us.

Check out the 5th reply in this thread. Oltremare- Merchants of Venice is the game.

We had a pretty good turnout again. Brian, Sean, Scott, Dennis, Jon and myself all dropped by at various points and played some Race for the Galaxy, Tribune, Agricola, Strat-o-Matic baseball, and a few hands of Lamarckian Poker to top it off.
