Saturday Gaming

Good to see that there may be a good turnout for Friday gaming again! For those not suffering from gaming hangover or lack of sleep or who are not out of town/country/what have you, I'm offering to host Saturday morning, 9am. If someone wants to play a specific game, feel free to suggest it. (I figured Rock Band was implied.)

At this point I am just a possible; hopefully I can update status more definitively tomorrow evening.

I'd like to play Crokinole, but I don't have a board. Simon, do you have a board you can bring? The only one I know of who has a board is Dennis.

By the way, several people have mentioned inviting Larry. Larry, you have an open invite to come over on Saturday. Drop me a line here and we can figure out how to get you directions.

My Saturday is completely filled with all sorts of roadblocks.

I should be there for the morning at least, maybe a little longer.

I am up for Crokinole, but I will need to remember my flask to get me in top form.

I do indeed have a board... It's never made a voyage by car, but with enough bubble wrap, anything is possible. Anything.

woohoo! Thanks, Chris (and whomever else had my back!). Would love to come by :)

My email is larryfinnjr@hotmail.com. And since I just spoke to Dennis a few mins ago, I now have yours - I'll drop a line forthwith...

You know what just occured to me? I have no idea where you live Chris. Care to drop me an email?

I am in for Saturday, and possibly for Sunday. My Croke board is easy to transport (I still have the shipping box), but Simon's is much nicer. I'll bring some other stuff too.

If you haven't heard yet, Games Workshop has licensed all of its non-miniature games to FFG. So no Blood Bowl or Space Hulk, but Talisman and expansions are back, and who knows what else. I'm pretty stoked about this.

"Talisman and expansions are back, and who knows what else."

So the Talisman market just crashed? I traded mine two weeks ago! w00t!

Well, if you are coming, Dennis, I'd feel more comfortable if you brought your board. I could rig something up for transport in my truck, but the backseats of cars make that kind of thing a non-issue. That is assuming you're fine with that. Let me know otherwise.

No problem, I'll bring my board in any event.

Larry,
I got your email and, like I said, you're invited. Problem is, I can read my email at work but it won't send out mail (because it thinks I'm on some imposter network rather than my home network...which is true I guess).

Sounds like I'll see both you and Simon tonight at Jeff's, so I'll give you directions there. If not, I'll drop emails to whoever I don't see when I get home and my email account thinks I'm legit again.

Good gaming to you all. I would love to drop by and play a game or two, but I will not be able to. Thanks for being such a good host, Chris.
