Friday Night Gaming
Wise Magic 8-Ball, despite weak turnouts lately on Friday nights and the fact that Brian is the default Friday host, should I throw out an invite for boardgames?
I should?
Whatever you say.
Gaming at Jeff and Amy's tomorrow at 6. Feel free to drop in later if that's what your schedule demands. Let us know in the comments if you're thinking of coming.

I shall be there. After I finish convincing young impressionable ungergrads that UTHSCSA is a fantastic place to get their PhD and they should really come here. (also known as forced volunteering for recruitment)
It should be done at 7 -- thou most likely at 730 or so. But i am at GCCRI for this event, so I dont have to go very far.
Do I hear murmuring of "Once Upon a Time"?
Yeah, I'll drop by for a bit, assuming I remember how to get there...
I'll be there at 6-ish.
I'll be somewhere over the north Atlantic looking out the window for U-Boat snorkles at that point... or at least burried in my new DS-Lite, headed towards the UK.
Hopefully you get one of the planes that has the video games in the back of the seats.
The flight to London where I played Super Mario World the whole way was the easiest trip I've ever been on.
I'm thinking about coming but not positive I can actually make it just yet.
I am a probable yes for coming but a probable late for arrival time (sometime 6:15-6:45).
Amy and I would like to come - the grandparents are in town and are watching the kiddos. I don't think I have directions though - can you send me your address over on BGG?
I think I'll be able to drop by about 6pm as well. Sounds like a good time.
Well dang we are surpassing the magic number for THE game. That might be a good thing as if we are forced to split one of the groups can play THE game.
I'm talking about Celebrities for those who don't understand the one track nature of my mind
And for any potential teammates future reference:
My name is Michael.
He lives upstairs from you...
Yes, despite Rock Band all of my music references are from cheesy 80s songs.
AH HA!!! I finally managed to convince my computer to allow me to make a Blogger account (don't ask - I have no idea why for the past 3 days it hasn't worked...)
So Hi! I'm Larry, the embittered Army guy referenced earlier in the week from the Monday night meet at Dragon's Lair...I had a great time meeting the few of you that were there (John, Dennis, Sean, Brian), and I'm hoping to get another opportunity to play some more...
If any of the above want to -vouch- for me, I'd love the chance to meet more of you tonight/tomorrow...if not, I'll be sure to see you Monday again!
My email is larryfinnjr@hotmail.com - feel free to leave me any info there :)
"He lives upstairs from you..."
Funny!
Larry - I'll email you directions.
Jeff, looks like you'll have quite the packed house this evening... It's a good thing you have lots of parking across from your house!
I'll bring some games since the crowd has grown (and a couple party games just for Michael).
...and now i'm on the fence as to whether tonight is in the cards for me... the missus is now 8 months preggers with our second baby, and she's been having a tough day today...
i did get the directions (thanks, jeff!) - but don't leave a candle burning in the window for me...worst case, i'll see everyone tomorrow...best is in a few hours mrs. larry's feelin ok :)
