TI:3 - Chad is running away with it!

Above you see a picture of the race I get to lead to galactic domination in Twilight Imperium 3 on Labor Day. Curses!

Here is a quick post to show the random race picks. Please be so kind as to post which of your two you'll be playing in the comments:

Chad: University of Jonl-Nar, L1z1x Mindnet
Chris: The Embers of Muaat, The Clan of Sarr
Jon: Naalu Collective, Sardakk N’orr
Michael: Emirates of Hacan, Mentak Coalition
Steve: Federation of Sol, Xxcha Kingdom
Ben: The Winnu, Yssaril Tribes (aka: suckiest race picks ever!)

Emirates for me. But be prepared everyone, my wall won't be quite so easy to penetrate as Rob's was in Nexus Ops.

Steve: If you need a recommendation, for a first time player Sol is probably a better choice. Their strength is ground combat, since they can hatch ground forces anywhere without a shipyard, and you can upgrade carriers to hold eight of them rather than six.

The Xxcha are relatively weak in combat, but have lots of pacifistic and diplomatic powers that make it hard for people to attack them.
