Welcome Carlos!

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to our newest member, Carlos. He found me via the Frapper Twilight Imperium 3 list, and he's expressed an interesting in playing this and other games with us. Could this be the beginning of a TI:3 groundswell of motivation and enthusiasm to play the beast again?

Welcome, Carlos!

Don't listen to him, Carlos! :)

I'm sure we have at least 3-4 others besides myself who want to play. Now, getting them all to agree on a date they can play is another thing...

I also recall a memorable post on BGG that described Twilight Imperium 3 as Christian Petersen's fetish game, over produced at every level.

Maybe... but I still think its the ultimate at what it does.

Thanks all! I love TI3 and can understand why it could be called "The Beast." I do enjoy a several other good games and am always willing to try others. I'll try to drop by Dragons Lair sometime soon and meet everyone. Till then...

Welcome to SABG Carlos.

Hey Rob, I met some guy a week or two ago who pronounced his last name of Ramirez, ram(like the animal)-er-rez. I thought he was joking at first, but he was dead serious. It was hard to keep a straight face after that. I bet his ancestors were rolling in their graves...
