Have fun guys! If you see a little shimmering, transparent guy dragging chains around looking on with envy, its me there in spirit. My physical form will be at HQ Air Mobility Command.
I've only played Acquire once, with my wife, and we both enjoyed the game. I do find business games a bit dry on theme (i.e., a bit too much like real work life), but Acquire seems to be a good solid game.
Every now and then I'll enjoy playing something other than a medieval or fantasy, empire-building, reasource-gathering-and-trading, etc. game.
I'm currently considering Die Macher 3rd ed (the one with cheesy graphics) just because it's so different to what I already own, and because it's a classic. Still, based on Brian's review, I don't know if it would see much play.

I'll be there around 4-4.30.
I will be showing up around 6pm.
I'll get there 6:30-7 as usual.
I'll bring Beowulf, Settlers, and a few random games.
I'd like to give WotR a try if anyone brings it. W/ or w/o the expansion.

Will f/u on tonight's session report.
Rob,
Could you clarify this for me?
"Will f/u on tonight's session report"
I am familiar with only one usage of "FU", but it doesn't appear to be the one you meant here.
"follow up." -They don't have administration bureaucracy at SwRI anymore there Ted?
Get on those TPS reports multiple advanced degrees man!
LOL!
We use a LOT of abbreviations at work:
f/u: follow up
b/c: because
w/ and w/o
2/2: secondary to
w/u: work up
dc: discharge or discontinue
etc: and lots more where that came from.
