Off-Topic, Geek Alert: Star Wreck
An interesting, for geeks-only diversion I watched this weekend is Star Wreck. It's a fan-made, 1.5 hour long Star Treck parody with suprisingly great special effects (screen shot from film above). If you can stand reading the subtitles (its produced in Finnish), and you enjoy Star Trek, Babylon 5, and similar things, I think you'll enjoy.

Okay... tying this post slightly back to gaming...
I found the Finnish attitudes towards Russians in the movie quite interesting. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with how the Finns trounced the Red Army during the Russo/Finnish War (reference: Memoir '44 Russian Expansion, ASL Beyond Valor, etc.), but apparently the Finns feel all Russians are complete drunken idiots.
In "Star Wreck," the Russian placed in charge of Enterprise is aptly named "Fukov" and is my favorite character in the film.
Of course, the Finnish attitude toward the USA was just a bit unsettling...
Fat, stupid, lazy, and arrogant I presume?
No, that's more like how the Russians are portrayed... we're more just evil and deserve to be destroyed.
