Constructing the Dark Tower
Rob and I have embarked upon a project to construct the ultimate Dice Towers (or at least ones that work). Using the plans located here, we plan on hitting the woodshop sometime soon. We had a short session last weekend, which resulted in some nicely cut wood and an amazing lack of dismemberment and blood. Wish us luck!

Sweet! I would reccomend lining the entire inside with felt if it's not too late. It makes the tower much quieter and isn't as rough on the dice as they scream down the shoot. Have fun and remember to count your fingers before and after woodwork.
Yep, we are going to do that.... whenever we are able to meet again.
I'm confident I'll have time Thursday night to finish the job. I'm going this afternoon to pick up a mini-Dremel router to cut the slots for the ramps. I just reorganized my garage shop this morning to make it more Dice Tower friendly.
Felt and foam board are going to two key components. Now to find my wife's hot glue gun....
