VCR/TiVO Alert!
Tonight from 8:00 until 9:00 KLRN is showing NOVA: Secrets of Lost Empires: Medieval Siege. Thought you guys might be interested. Those of you not in the San Antonio Texas area will need to check your local PBS listings.
I'm going to log in to Tivo Online right now and request it. Thanks!
My wife and I are both Tivo junkies. We each have one. Unfortunately, she keeps recording girl shows (The Bachelor, Deperate Housewives, Sex and the City, etc.) on mine, so Tivo thinks I'm either (a) a woman with a very odd predilection for violent war movies and Notre Dame football; or (b) a man well in touch with his feminine side.
I think I watch an hour of TV a week, tops. -But when I do it's usually The Daily Show or some Nova/History/Discovery Channel special. Did anyone else watch The Elegant Universe when it came out? I think that was easily the best use of PBS taxpayer money to date.
Of course come Spurs playoff time, I never leave the set...
Feh. It was more about building a trebuchet than about siege warfare in general. Still, an entertaining hour of television. Better than Desparate Housewives.

Me? I'm all about Boston Legal, The Office, sometimes Grey's Anatomy, and Lost. And who can deny a good Spurs game.
I'll also eat up any WWII documentary on the History channel.
