Time to make our nefarious (weekend) plans...

Wow, it seems like we just played games. But Saturday is upon us once again. Anyone interested in getting a little group together for some more gaming? MWAHAHAHA...

UPDATE: Moving to Dragon's Lair due to my early morning commitments. Start at 10am (when they open).

I am taking care of the kids this weekend, but I have been away from Saturday games for too long. I hope to see the dice again in a couple of weeks. Thanks, Chris.

I've been out of town for a couple of months for work reasons, but I'm back. I can't game this weekend, since I'm going to an anime convention, but come next weekend I'll be ready to do some gaming.

Welcome back, Chad! I'm sure you can roll in on our Descent game or perhaps even something more epic in Spaaaace! Kingsport should be here in a couple weeks as well.

...which is not to be confused with KingsBURG.

I hope to come.

I'm assuming this is at your house?

I guess I could even do a baseball series and be close to caught up since I'm getting my series with Jon done tomorrow.

I have to run some errands in the morning and can't start until about 10am anyway, plus I may have to leave as early as 3pm (although it may end up being closer to 5pm), so let's meet at Dragon's Lair at 10am if that's ok with everyone.

Joefling,
We usually ask that new players meet up with us when we play at a neutral site like Dragon's Lair so that we get a chance to know you first. This way, we avoid the awkwardness (and potential safety issues) of complete strangers coming into our homes. However, this may turn out to be a Dragon's Lair Saturday (corner of Fredricksburg and Medical Drive) so you are welcome to come join us. Keep checking here--if for some reason this Saturday falls through, we'll post here, but if not, come join us.

I won't make it due to family obligations, but I welcome anyone who is a War of the Ring fan.

Ok, whats the address to Dragons Lair? Thats quiet a ways from me so i dont know if i can make it, but i will definitly try. What other games do you guys have? Im loaded on the risk games (Risk, LOTR Risk, Risk 2210, Risk Godstorm and transforemrs Risk. I also have Axis and allies the original and the revised versions. Also in my collection is many many party/trivia games and alot of monopoly games too. War games are my favorite so im up for anything. But WOTR is my ultimate favorite and i cant get enough of it. Like i said before all the peices are painted. It took me about 6 months but it adds alot to the game. Well hopefully ill see some of you tomorrow. Thanks for inviting me Ben and Chris.

I will definitely try; I have to squeeze a wedding reception somewhere into this day. I am definitely down to observe WOTR as my copy is sitting in a box at Coolstuffinc waiting for the reprint of Race in order to ship! I will check with the almighty godqueen that is my wife (she truly is!) and I will shoot for 10 at DL. Also, just a note; I haven't completely abandoned the need to roll out Die Macher this election season so I am again throwing out a "teaser" --we are currently moving into a new home and will need to consecrate this holy space soon--prepare; I will try to arrange a game in the next few weeks. Hope to see you all Saturday,

Travis

Well Travis you dont have to observe buddy, you can play. It is a 2,3 or 4 player game. Alot of people like to dog WOTR as a 3 or 4 player game. But if you stick to how the rule book has it layed out it can actually be quiet intresting. Besides it will be a good warm up for when you get your copy in.

I am out for the morning and a doubtful last minute call for the afternoon. I would love to try Die Macher or another 1960 shot yet this election season. I am also up for baseball. With that said if I can show up I will be happy with whatever is hitting the table. My bet however is that my next gaming will be a week from Monday but I will keep my fingers crossed. So Michael and Jon how did your series go? Do we have updated standings for SABBL at this point?
