Back to Top Gaming Condition, Saturday Board Games
So, its been over a week since my last board gaming session, and I'm feeling as out of shape as these poor Iraqi Army trainees. How about some gaming on Saturday?
Who wants to host?
What do people want to play? My earlier suggestion of Road to Legend elicited a nothing but the sound of distant crickets, so I'm up for other things. Perhaps I'll play a campaign solo just to get a better feel for it (sniff, sniff...). TI:3 is always a given on my want list. I'd like to do something warlike if anyone is up for it... perhaps Combat Commander, Twilight Struggle, Tide of Iron, Hannibal, War of the Ring, C&C: Ancients... you get the drift. Otherwise, Arkham might be nice... Die Macher was mentioned... not my first choice, but I could be convinced. My copy of Kingsburg still smells new. My copy of Merchants of Venus is still speeding down from Canada. FAB: Bulge is still in shrink, but I could be convinced to stickerize if someeone commits tonight.
Anyway... whatever... its all good!

I am hoping for a some gaming time this Saturday. I'm more than happy to play Combat Commander. I'll bring El Grande and a few others. Mare Nostrum might find it's way into the bag, but I'm not hopeful on that front.
I am not able to host, but I would be happy to play at DL.
Chris is still gone right?
I am 50/50 or better to be able to show up Saturday and am open to play just about anything although I do hope to squeeze in a SABBL series.
Hornsfan has returned to his secure, undisclosed location.
I am out of town most weekends but i would love to join you one day. Just not this weekend.
I would be interested in playing something. Should no one else offer and desperate needs arise I would even offer my apartment up, but it cannot fit that many people. Just throwing it out there.
We can do open gaming at my place at 9am till 4ish if anyone's interested. Rock Band welcome, although I'm not sure how much of the band is still around.
Excellent, the Godfather is back.
I'll be there, with the usual vote against anything with animal mating or the word "produce".
The band is stronger than ever, even Jon, whose fingers have clearly atrophied.
I shall be there about then, with some games. I am in the mood to bake though. Would anyone object to some sort of baked good? Cookies maybe?
I need to find the GH3 guitar I hurled to the back of my closet after failing Slow Ride on easy.
Reading the FAB: Bulge rules. This seems to have a really good amount of chrome with a minimum of fiddly rules. Now to stickerize...
I will bring warlike games with no wood or stone cubes. Plus, maybe Kingsburg, which has both wood and stone cubes.
What happened to the band? Is Dennis MIA or something?
Cookies! Yes. I never met a cookie I didn't like. I will brings tacos, heavy on the bean and bacon content.
I shall have to see what I can pull out for recipes. I will have something fun for sure, however. :)
So if I'm remembering correctly, Jon is moving tomorrow.
I think he hired movers, but I don't know if that exonerates him from being present during the moving.
Maybe he can clarify.
I should be there around 9:00; I'll play anything.
I would love to make my first appearance at Chris's, but I need some help.
I need directions, and a phone # would be great, too.
Ted, I sent you directions on Geekmail.
i am a very probable and up for pretty much anything
with that said I will probably be there a little late (9:15-9:30) and would like to get in one SABBL series
I will try to remember to bring some of my classics just in case
Steve: El Grande involves no production and it is highly rated by none other than DWTrip on BGG.
Also, Mare Nostrum does have production, but it also has special rules just for pillaging. Just sayin'.
