I can play Saturday morning, the earlier the better. I'm hoping for 4-Player epic battlelore, War of the Ring, a medieval block game, or some 2 player version of Battlelore using either epic or call to arms additions.
We can also reveiw some previously discussed painting options.
Anyone else up for hosting? I could actually offer my parents' house, but this is somewhat far (Boerne Stage Road and I10). They are out of town, and have the same large table I had at my place. DL, is always an option.
BTW, mini session report of an impromptu gaming session: I drove to DL because it was on my way to 410, and found Jon chatting with Richard. I pulled a Michael, and convinced Jon of getting a copy of Notre Dame (he wanted it anyway, and he had extra wedding cash on him). So we played with a twofer. It's actually not bad at all, but it feels even more solitair. I won by 2 points. I'd still rather play with more, but wouldn't kick a 2-player out of bed.
I will be at a scouting event this Saturday with my son, so I will not be available. As for hosting, I am still planning to try to host the following Saturday if I am successful in getting the wife to visit her sister.
The next three Saturdays (and Mondays, Fridays, etc.) are shot for me. I'm going through one of those annoying periods in life where there is no time for much gaming of any kind.
Its like I'm locked in a cage in a corner and someone outside the cage is taunting me with my Tide of Iron game, saying, "You will never get this! You will never get this! La la la la la!"
One suggestion is that if you arrived at DL right as the doors opened you could secure one of the side rooms, far from the maddening crowd.

"But one time, Ben break cage and he will 'get this', and then we will laugh, high five!"
Ok, lets say DL at 10am.
Unfortunately(Fortunately?) I have to do wedding stuff this Saturday and cannot attend.
I will be able to game all day Monday if anyone is showing up to DL.
I'm gonna try to swing by DL tomorrow around 10.
Prob mid afternoon arrival for me to catch the tail end of the festivities
I'll come by at 10am myself.
Al
Session report?
They are probably still going at it...
