I'm available starting around 8:30. I could host.

There's a good chance I can be there on Saturday. I'll be gone for the next two weekends, so I'm highly motivated to play. Plus Fall from Heaven 2 has been kicking my butt all week on the PC, and I'm ready for some board gaming therapy.

I'm hoping a big Thought Hammer package will arrive tomorrow containing among other things Tide of Iron, but it probably won't get here until Monday.

Woohoo....I'm getting Pillars (not too many excited over it but I enjoy it), Notre Dame, and Arkadia tomorrow. If I show up on Saturday morning, I'll bring 1 or 2 of these, unless the mood is heavier stuff.

I ordered Tide of Iron but with my merchant, it's still stuck in preorder status. I keep checking, though.

I got Pillars, too, Rob. Looks like the group will have two people who would play it...just in different cities.

Anyway, my Saturday will be spent at work for the second weekend in a row. Looking forward to the session report.

If Jeff is hosting I can be there at some point (not 8:30).

Pillars looks cool and I would live to play. Oh, but take it from a guy who like SoC. ;)

Thought Hammer... not shipping Tide of Iron until tomorrow... strength fading...

I can't host tomorrow due to logistics associated with impending arrival of house guests has momentarily taken over gaming space, so playing at Jeff's sounds great to me.

I can bring a pile of likely candidates. If anyone wants to peel off to table #2 for WotR just let me know.

Just to confirm/solidfy plans:

Gaming starts at my house tomorrow at 8:30 AM. Email me if you need directions. As of this post no specific games have been planned.

I am definitely out of luck for Saturday morning and most of the afternoon. If anyone feels like gaming in the late afternoon or evening, call, e-mail, or post here.

I'm still fired up to play War of the Ring. I loved Crusader Rex (thanks, Rob), and want to play Hammer of the Scots.

I would vote for Struggle of Empires or TI3 for Sat. I'll try to be there at 8:30. If I'm not, start without me. I have to finish lesson plans and syllabi first.

Tangentially related...

Ted, I got no answer & no machine from the number you gave. Baseball hasn't arrived yet, so I guess we'll try for next week.

I can probably make it there at 830.

I probably will make it a bit after 0830. Hectic weekend with lots of family members from all over in town (wedding in the family). I'll probably have to leave 1-2pm or so.

Haven't read the rules to any of the new games I just got today though (maybe I will read up Notre Dame as I have my pregaming cereal bowl, just in case).

Ted, Mark, Jon, Dennis (the block heads): Yes, I leave you with a new convert to take my place. Steve has proven to be a worthy opponent to join the ranks. Great game man. Of course, we can always try Vassal blockgaming. I'm pretty positive Mark wants to try it.
