Axis and Allies: Battle of the Bulge
I'm looking for someone to try out the newly released Axis and Allies: Battle of the Bulge with me next Saturday afternoon, January 13th. The game should take approximately 3 hours to play. Numerous additions have been added to this freshly minted version of the Axis and Allies system, including supply effects, a new combat system, and zones of control. If I have to I'll just play the game solo, but I'd certainly prefer another human to play against. Don't make me ride alone with Hitler!

I'm tempted to just see exactly what happens when someone "rides alone with Hitler". Sounds like an uncomfortable three hours of silence with a few glances of indignation from both parties. Kind of like the endgame of Diplomacy!
I think he'd suffer from a lot of road rage, plus probably be a major league back seat driver. Anyway, it wouldn't be a fun experience.
And his taste in music is terrible.
Lots of Wagner, no doubt.
Ted, I'll play it with you. I've played it with Kirk once already. Let me know if you want to give it a shot.
Sorry, Ben. I had just read a post by Ted. In any case, I'm still game. I'm also dying to try Combat Commander, if you have that.
Wait, I'm confused.
Rick, did you mean that you accidentally typed my name when you meant to type Ben's name?
I don't yet know my availability for Sat, but there are quite a few war themed games I'd like to try.
In any case, Ben called it first.
Thanks for the interest, guys! Maybe we'll have enough to have several games going on Saturday. I can make a 1PM start time, if that sounds good? If we do end up with an odd number of players, I'm sure there's some games we can play that accomodate 3 players.
I'm sorry guys. I was working on a project most of the day on Sunday. I took a break and was skimming through the posts. I had just read Ted comments about suggested policay on Mondays (which sounds good to me). I jumped to Ben's post, saw A&A Bulge, and thought Yeah, I'll play that, without paying attention to who posted it, so I was still thinking Ted. I also failed to notice that Ben was talking about next Saturday. I may not be available then. I'll be there tonight though between 6:00 and 6:30, Ben, if you want to give it a go.
Saturday is still a bit up in the air. I have a lot going on this weekend, but I should be able to spare a 4-hour block or so for gaming Saturday afternoon. If anyone is interested (with or without Axis and Allies), just let me know. The more the merrier, of course.
Well... nevermind. We've accelerated the construction start date of our renovation project, so I'll be overseeing workers at my house all weekend... Argh! I hate when real life interferes with board gaming.
