Adios Amigos

Well, its been alot of fun! Jamie and I are moving to austin at the end of the month. I got a job at a game programming company that I couldn't pass up. I won't be able to make it to this week's Monday gaming, but I really hope to make it to next week's.

If anyone wants to come over to my place this Wednesday, I'll shift some boxes around for some gaming.

Patrick! We were only kidding with the opinionated stuff! hehehe

Seriuosly, it's been fun. Before you leave, I need a copy of Hunting Party so that I can brag about it some years down in the future...

"You know that company who took over Mayfair? Seaborn Games... I've got a copy of their first game ever..."

g luck in Austin. More or less by this time next year, it will be me posting a msg like this one.

I'm gonna try to make it out wednesday if I can, but my schedule is alot less flexible nowadays. Regardless, you will be missed. It sucks to see the group dwindle in any way.

This is terrible news for the SABG Club, but I offer my sincere congratulations and best wishes.

I am truly thankful to you for inviting me in to your home for great gaming sessions, and I appreciate the opportunity to have learned a tremendous amount from you about game design, development, publication, and theory from your writings and discussions.

I truly hope you'll stay in touch with your pals in San Antonio and let us know about any good gaming events happening just a short drive to the north!

Well, I suppose if it's the last hoorah I can work my way over there for Wednesday.

Best of luck in your new field, Patrick. It sounds like a pretty kick-ass gig.

The group will of course feel your absense.

Sorry I can't make it. Cruel, cruel school...

Congrats, Patrick! Sounds like a one in a million type of opportunity! The Wednesday night session is one of the foundations that the SABG was built on. You will be greatly missed. I know there's good gaming in Austin, so you can still get your game on.

Sorry to hear you are leaving. We will miss you. It sounds like a great opportunity, though, and so congratulations are in order.

Unfortunatley, with my move going on, I don't know if I'll be able to make it Wed. Our movers come on Th.

You still know where the blog is, though, and Austin isn't that far away, especially given how small the gaming world is. So I won't say "good-bye" but rather "till next time."

Crapnappers! That's good news for you -- a dream job -- and bad news for us! What company is it? We will certainly miss you. I will plan on making it Wednesday, but don't expect us all to take it easy on you just because you are moving!!

Yea, gaming in austin should be good. Weird thing. I get an email this morning from a guy who already works at my new company inviting me to a game night. Seamless transition! In fact, he regularly reads our blog!

Patrick - Welcome to Austin. Join the RRGamers Yahoo group for more gaming opportunities in Austin. Brian can vouch for me and the group (well, I at least hope he will). More info can be found at my web site (http://www.rozmiarek.info/games).

And of course there is open gaming at both Dragon Lairs here as well as Great Hall Games. Drop me an e-mail if you have any questions.
