I am out for Monday but should be back if something comes up next weekend.

By the way, I know this is a long shot but does anybody have any interest in fantasy hockey?

Jinx!

Has anyone seen a copy of Chaos in the Old World there?

I won't.

Ooooh, I'd love to try Chaos.

I won't be there this week. I'll be just arriving from Sacramento with my two cats in tow. They will likely be registering their very low opinion of being stashed in under a plane seat for 6 hours. Until next week!

Sigh. Even with Ben's negative defensive points the Cowboy's decision to go with the running game last night lost me the fantasy matchup this week... I was far in the lead before the game, but Roy Williams scored 1 point to the 20-something from Barber for Ben... and he wins by 2.

Remember that Barber should've had even more, with a clear shot at the end zone in the 4th, but pulled a muscle at the 10.

(I know, I had Barber in my main league. Now I'm vulnerable to a big day from Peyton Manning; 3 TDs and I'm sunk.)

I must give all thanks to the random draft algorithm at ESPN.com...

What little actual coaching I did was to bench the one Notre Dame player on my team, John Carney, kicker. He graduated two years before I did, so I picked him for sentimental reasons more than actual kicking capability. Perhaps this pushed me over the top this week.

So... what gaming have I done lately you ask? Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 on the XBox; Baldur's Gate 1 and Rome Total War Gold on the ancient PC; Angband and Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup also on PC.... And 1805: Sea of Glory and Unhappy King Charles via Vassal. All-in-all not bad.
